Redwood City, California signage: Climate Best by Government Test
This signage was erected as the result of a 1925 contest sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Real Estate Board in Redwood City, California. Wilbur H. Doxsee won the prize of $10 for his entry: "By Government Test, Our Climate is Best." The wording was later shortened to read: "Climate Best By Government Test" and placed near the entry of downtown Redwood City.

Holmquist who was one of the pioneer businessmen of Redwood City and was known by literally thousands of the residents of the area until his death in 1952.
