Joseph and Irene Pierce — former ham radio operators out of Santa Clara, California, are buried together at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. An image of the couple with their ham radio equipment is embedded on the edge of their double gravestone. Joseph passed away on June 7, 1966, and Irene joined him on July 10, 1993.

A section of the finishing department where gloves are pressed and shaped before packing. This process is called "laying off". The gloves are then ready to be placed in boxes and shipped to the desired quartermaster depot.
